Mysuru: Mysuru Rangayana-based Teater Repertory launched ‘B V Karanth Ranga Chavadi’, the stage for the theater, to celebrate the establishment of the Institute of ‘Nataka Karnataka Rangayana’ 32 years ago by the Personality of the Superior Theater B V Karanth in Mysuru.
Director of Rangayana Addanda C CaresiaiaPpa, During the press meeting on Friday, said that the theater stage which was being built on the Kalamandira campus will help in training Bharatiya Ranga Shikshana Kendra, a theater training institution by Rangayana, Martial Arts, Janapada, and various disciplines other.
Theater will also be given to rent to hold a cultural program, to the public.
“The theater is being built at the cost of Rs 8 Lakh, with funds produced by Rangayana, and through the contribution provided by the institution and generous.
Rangayan has not received financial assistance from the state government for the project.
The theater will be inaugurated by Minister of St.
Somashekar at 11 Morning on Monday, “he said.
AIAPPA said that Rangayana will hold a cultural program such as ‘Chavadi Sangeeetha’ at 6pm by Ramachandra Hadapada, and ‘Bhishmarjuna Kalaga’ by Sri Anjaneyya Mahila Yakshagana Sanga, Putture, directed by Bhaskar Barya at 7:15 a.m.
on Monday.
“I urge the government to start ‘Ranga Chavadi’ in all the nation’s net, to promote art, which is cost-effective, instead of Rangamandiras,” he said.

“This year we only received 60 lakh Rs from the government.
We have around 70 members working in the company, and have become very difficult for us to manage limited funds.
The cost of maintenance itself is around Rs 7.5 lakh while we pay Rs 1 , 5 lakh for electricity bills, every three months.
