Rani Rampal Resting for the Asian Cup Cup, Savita to Lead the Indian Team

Skipper Rani has rested for the women’s championship trophy next month and in his absence of Deputy Captain Savita will lead the strongest Indian Hockey team.
The tournament is scheduled to be played in Donghae, South Korea from December 5-12.
India began their campaign on the opening day and would fight against China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia in a single pool tournament for the top award.
Savita, named FIH goalkeeper this year, will the captain of the team as regular captain Rani has rested and is in rehabilitation in Bengaluru.
