Jaipur: Two tiger reserves in the state, Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Tiger Reserve, will be partially closed for tourism this rainy season from 1 July to 30 September.
Like previous years, Safari in Zone 6 to 10 from Ranthambore will be opened for tourists.
Tourism in Ranthambore immediately gained momentum after the park opened after a hiatus of two and a half months.
Since June 25, 2,356 wildlife travelers have visited the park.
However, tourists now have to wait for three more months to safari in Zone 1 to 5.
An official said, “Following the direction of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), the Safaris forest in the core area of Tiger Reserve was stopped during the rainy season.
This will allow forests to rejuvenate And tigers breed.
“In Sariska, tourists can go for safari on the route, including Tehla-Kalighati, the Junction Zone of UMRI and Buffer.
Stakeholders in STR are estimated on the route decided, there is a possibility that tiger appearance is better for tourists.
“Previously, Wildlife tourists came to Sariska for Safari during this season felt cheated because there was no sighting.
