Mumbai: Special protection of children from the Sexual Violation Court (Pocso) in Borivali Mumbai Maharashtra Regency on Friday ordered the police to take legal action against two main witnesses in cases of rape.
The victim of his case and his mother were two main witnesses.
In March 2019, the victim (a female player) and his mother had submitted a rape case against the player when he was an underage child (17 years and 8 months).
A Bottom FIR 376 IPC and Section 5 and 6 Pocso laws were submitted for alleged violations after the victim’s mother found that she was 24 weeks pregnant.
During the trial in 2021, both the main witness (victims and mothers) turned hostile while sustaining before the Pocso court was specially under oath.
Both refused to accept that they filed firs with the content at all.
The court was told that after FIR was archived, the defendant was married to the victim in October 2019 and that this might be the reason that witnesses turned into hostility.
The Special Court then released allegations of all charges, but directed prosecution to take legal action against the main witness of this case; The complainant / victim in Fir and his mother.
