Coimbatore: The Indian Air Force submitted a petition before the Additional Mahila Court in Coimbatore to take over the rape case involving Lieutenant Flight Amitesh Harmukh, 29.
IAF wants to carry out investigations and military.
However, the Central All-Woman police arrested Harmukh objected and alleged that IAF had failed to take action after receiving complaints from rape victims and they would conduct an investigation.
The IAF officials argue that the incident occurred at the Air Force Administration Premise in Fields Red in Coimbatore City.
Loker of rape and amitesh operates and investigations cannot be done by city police, they said.
So the flight lieutenant must be handed over to IAF.

Officers cannot be arrested under civil law.
The police produce Harmukh before additional Mahila (Incharge) Court Judge Thilageswari.
The rape government, Lieutenant cadre officers also appeared in front of the court.
