Rape: Panel Women Stepping, No Arrest

Gurgaon: Haryana State Commission for Women (HSCW) on Wednesday convinced the 19-year-old Gang Dalit victim who survived legal assistance and called for strict actions to guilty.
It also asked the police to provide security at his home in Sohna Village.
While fir in this case was submitted on Sunday, no arrests made so far.
Likewise, not one person from the 40 ordered has been held for the attack on the woman’s neighbor, also a Dalit, allegedly forged, stripped and paraded around the village for helping him complaint police.
During his interaction with HSCW Deputy Chairperson of Preeta Bhardwaj in the civilian civil servant, the woman, who has a one-year-old daughter, expressed concern about her safety.
He said he was worried that the men would disturb and harass him as soon as he returned home from the hospital, where he had undergone treatment for the past five days.
“We have directed the police to ensure that the female police are deployed for their safety,” Bhardwaj said, added that survivors would be dismissed on Thursday.
The woman accused her of being held hostage for nine days and was raped by four men, who had injected it with sedatives every night.
He had been thrown near the Ballabhgarh Bus Stand on July 8, after he contacted her husband.
He said the Commission would ensure that the woman got compensation and legal assistance.
“I speak with Sho and ACP about the investigation.
The police will take the right action in this case,” he said, adding that the panel will monitor the probe and take routine updates from the police.
The police said there was no arrest was made until now because the investigation was still in the process.
“We verify the facts,” said ACP (SOHNA) Sandeep Mallik.
Meanwhile, Ajit Singh, a neighbor of a woman who complained that she was beaten badly, was undergoing treatment at a civil hospital too.
