Kanpur: Survivor Rape in Kanpur has filed a written complaint with senior police officials, accusing an investigative officer (IO) handling complaints of unpleasant rape.
In his complaint to senior officers, he said when he approached IO to ask about the progress of the investigation, officers accused him of not ‘clean’ himself and refused to start the arrest of the defendant.
Senior officers have ordered an investigation into the complaint.
The woman, who works in a pharmaceutical company, has filed a brilliant against her senior colleague Gaurav Dwivi on July 7, 2021, under the IPC of rape and attacks at the Kalyanpur police station in the city.
Allegedly that the defendant for several reasons had invited him to his place and raped him by offering his tea mixed with sedative and also filmed the action.
Then, he raped him on several occasions threatening him to make his virus virus on social media.
In May 2021, when the defendant threatened him and asked him to reach his place, his wife also arrived at that place and arrested him with a red hand with him.
After being sexually exploited repeatedly by Gaurav, congratulations then filed a complaint at the Kalyanpur police station.
Furthermore, the police put the case against the defendant under 376 and 352 IPC.
According to Survivor, he also filed a complaint to the company’s senior officials in this matter, but there was no action taken against the defendant, instead he was transferred to Ghaziabad three days after the case was registered.
According to the woman, even after two months, there was no action taken in this matter and accused the IO case of a partisan approach to the investigation.
“Every time I approach investigating Dharmendra Singh official, he made an inappropriate statement saying that he was also not ‘sati-savitri’, and that it was his approval also with whatever happened to him,” the victim said in his complaint.
He added in his complaint, “The reason for the investigator is that rape is not a crime, because the defendant must be imprisoned.” He also alleged that IO openly demanded bribery and heartbreaking every time he approached him to find out about the progress of this case.
“Each type of unpleasant comment on the victim invites penalties.
Probe has been ordered and if evidence is found to sub-inspectors, strict action will be taken to it,” SP BBGTS BBGTS said.
