Rare butterflies and mushroom species are seen in the guale

Gurugram: The State Department of Forest and Wildlife conducts fungal and butterflies surveys to explore and preserve the rich diversity of mushrooms, flora, and fauna in the Kelpare National Park and wildlife asylum in Yamunanagar Regency.
According to officials, eight teams identified a total of 55 fungal species and 50 butterfly species during their daily surveys.
Of these, at least three – pierrot sloping India, Yamfly and general Nawab – rare butterfly species found.
Five rare mushroom species were also identified.
“We have recorded a rare species of butterflies and mushrooms that have never been observed in this part of the country before,” said Harvinder Singh, a scientist, who is part of the survey.
The mushroom and butterfly survey in the Keluaran National Park was held together by the State Department and Wildlife of the State and Biodiversity Council, and supported by the Institute of Forest Research, Dehradun, and Indian Wildlife Institute.
Underpointing the importance of surveys, said officials, trees, bushes, climbers and herbs, officials said, would not be able to live on earth without fungus, because they were an integral part of the food chain of many insects.
Mushrooms and mushrooms, they added, is an inseparable part of a healthy ecosystem.
“Butterflies are also indicators of the main biodiversity.
They are very sensitive to environmental change.
The presence of so many butterflies shows the rich bio diversity of the region,” said a wildlife officer.
On Tuesday, a similar butterfly survey was carried out on Khol Block from Rewari.
About 60 species of butterflies were recorded during the survey.
