Hyderabad: Archaeologists explore historical remains and over a 1,000-year-old rare statue at Bhattugudem at Peddavura Mandal from the Nalgonda district.
Archaeological sites are filled with neolithic, megalithic, and satavahana, according to e sivanagi reddy, archaeologists.
Two fans, TG Saidareddy and K VenkataSe, along with Sivanasgi Reddy conducted a broad survey in the fields and saw a stone ax belonging to the Neolithic period of 4,000 BC.
They also found the iron slag from the megalithic period of 1,000 BC and red-polished red equipment fragments from the first and second century Satavahana Period.
Sivanagi Reddy found a rare stone statue of Bhairdava and Brahma in the form of Trimurti and Valli Subrahmanya, Surya and Mahishasuramardini who represented Rastrakuta’s style and Kalyani Chalukyan lying in negligent in the location of the Isthakameswara temple.
Some Heroes from the 13th century Kakatiya period were also excavated during exploration.
