Abu Dhabi: Premier Afghan’s leg-spinner Rashid Khan took his 400th goal into a competitive T20 cricket during the T20 World Cup match against New Zealand here on Sunday.
The 23-year-old spinner reached a milestone when he bent the opening of New Zealand Martin Guptill wrong in the ninth among the kiwi round, even when the mixture tried to go to sweep Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
Rashid achieved achievements in his 289th T20 match.
Only three other bowlers crossed a 400 goal sign on the T20 Cricket.
Dwayne Bravo, the first achievement in 364 matches, also became the first bowler to cross 500 T20 Wickets.
The West Indies All-rounder, who has just announced its international pension from the format, has 553 net from 512 matches.
Two other bowlers who followed him to achievement were Imran Tahir (in 320 matches) and Sunil Narine (in 362 matches), both of them reached a historical milestone earlier this year.
Rashid also holds a record for most T20 scalp in one calendar year, after selecting 96 surprisingly in 2018.
The level of economy is 6.34 is the second best behind the West Indies’ Sunil Narine among Bowler who has played 200 matches.
Previously in the tournament, Rashid became the fastest bowler to take 100 Wickets at T20 Internationals during the Afghan Super 12 match against Pakistan.
The dough was dismissed, on that occasion, was the Veteran of Pakistan All-Rounder Mohammad Heafez.
Rashid was just the fourth person, after the Southee team, Shakib Al Hasan and Lasith Malinga, to reach the milestone of 100 Wicket in T20IS.
Rashid chose his 100th goal only in his 53rd match, surpassing the record of Sri Liking Legend Lasith Malinga to reach landmarks in his 76th game.
