SURENDRANAGAR: Raj Shekhawat, Gujarat unit venture of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, a Rajput public business, was detained for allegedly threatening a senior police officer.
Shekhawat, who runs a security service, has been picked up by his office at Ahmedabad on Wednesday day by Surendranagar authorities following an FIR was filed against him,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Surendranagar, H P Doshi.
In a public gathering held four weeks back in Chotila taluka of Surendranagar district in service of some men detained by Amreli authorities, he supposedly used”exceptionally violent words” contrary to Amreli district superintendent of police Nirlipt Rai along with other police employees, Doshi said.
Shekhawat actually threatened to kill Rai and stated that the Amreli SP was secure only due to the uniform he had been wearing, Doshi said.
He’s been earmarked under IPC sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 189 (threatening people slave ) and 153 (provocation having the intent to cause riot).
The Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena is a splinter group of this Rajasthan-based Karni Sena or even Shri Rajput Karni Sena.
