Rath Yatra 2021 will be celebrated on Monday, July 12.
Rath Yatra is one of the biggest and organized Hindu festivals every year at the famous Jagannatha temple in Puri, Odisha, India.
Rath Yatra was celebrated at Dwitiya Tithi during Shukla Paksha from the month of Ashada (June-July).

Jagannatha literally means Lord of the Universe.
Jagannatha Temple in Puri is one of the four Hindu pilgrimage centers known as Char Dham.
Lord Jagannatha was worshiped together with his brother Baabhadra and his sister Devi Subhadra.
Lord Jagannatha Ratha Yatra began with a visit to Gundicha eye temple to respect the devotion of Queen Gundicha, the wife of the legendary king of Indradyumna who built the Puri Jagannatha temple.
The fourth day after Ratha Yatra was celebrated as Hera Panchami when Dewi Lakshmi, Empress Lord Jagannatha, visited the Gundicha temple to find Lord Jagannatha.
After taking eight days at Gundicha Lord Jagannatha temple back to his main place.
Today is known as the budding Yatra or returns Yatra.
Mr.
Jagannatha returned to his main place just before Devshayani Ekadashi when Lord Jagannatha went to bed for four months.
