Varanasi: Acting on a complaint that the rough bomb was thrown during Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ‘Shakha’ near Pitkund Pond on Thursday, the police swung actions and summoned forensic experts for investigations after staying against the quarter against unknown miscondition.
ACP Chetanj Aniruddh Singh said, “A RSS official, Vijay Jaiswal, warned the police that some raw bombs were thrown during the ‘Shakha’ and he suffered an injury after falling on the ground after the bomb exploded.
Given Jaiswal’s complaint, a FIR was submitted to the police Sigra below 323 (Voluntary causes of injury) and 286 (negligent behavior in connection with explosive substances) IPC against unknown people.

ACP Chetanj also reached the place and followed the initial investigation, the police called FSL experts to join the probe.
Singh said that CCTV footage the nearest building was also being examined.
