RbU Alumni Meet A Nostalgic Affair

Mohali: The taste of nostalgia fills the air as an alumni of the University of Rayat Bahra interacting with old classmates they now work in various parts of the country and abroad when they participate in e-alumni meet 2021 from the University of Raya Bahra on Thursday.
E-alumni meet 2021 organized to connect alumni with their friends in this pandemic and share their experiences through zoom and streaming applications directly on YouTube.
The event was held under the guidance of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Representative of Chancellor Dr.
Parvinder Singh was also attended by Vice President of Goriter Singh Bahra, Registrar Prof.
BS Satal and the Dean of Academic Affairs Prof.
Nena Mehta.

More than 1,100 alumni are registered for e-alumni meet while more than 1400 students see the event on YouTube.
More than 55 alumni speakers from schools, the university department distributes their views on zoom applications including alumni from various sectors such as MNC, entrepreneurs, houses, hospitals, institutions and famous universities etc.
Representative Chancellor Dr.
Parvinder Singh officially inaugurated the meeting and was attended by ceremonial lighting from the lights by the representative of Chancellor, along with the Registrar Prof.
BS Satal, Academic Affairs Dean Prof.
Nena Mehta and Dr.
Gurfateh Singh, Principal of Pharmacy University of Science and Head of the RbU Alumni Committee.
Alumni members participate enthusiastically and share their views one by one.
They are taken from various sectors such as MNC, industry, academics, research, entrepreneurs, and hospitals etc.
They all praised the university, staff and HODs from their departments and given the key roles they play in forming their careers.
Most of them turned nostalgia when they returned their memories on campus and shared them with their friends and old classmates.
Some of them shared their own successful experiences and underlined how hard the guidance of senior faculty members had stood in instead.
Video clips are also shared at the end of students who cannot attend direct meetings because of their work and time gaps when they settle abroad.

Neena Mehta, Dean Academics Urfairs, proposed a sound of thank you, saying that it is a proud moment for the university to see its alumni work in top companies such as TCS, Bangalore, Pvizer, America, International Pvt Paragel.
