Chandigarh: Ending the controversy produced from the measurement of improper candidates who are looking for work in the police Haryana, the Punjab High Court and Haryana have directed the Haryana government to implement the direction of the court issued in the past regarding re-measurement.
HC has also explained that NonlimMencana direction in this case will amounted to the insults of the court.
“In the case of Raghvir Singh and the others versus the state of the Punjab, the direction was issued to the state of the Punjab.
But the Instant Order Vide, the state of Haryana was also directed to ensure that Raghvir Singh’s decision was implemented in letters and spirits in Haryana as well, for all prospective recruitment.

In the previous order on July 5, 2021, HC had directed the Punjab government to notify them that rejected candidates in connection with high measurements, about dates, time and venue for high re-measurements via email, text messages and website departments.
HC sets a one-month time limit for the authority to measure Candidatesthe HC has also set a one-month time limit to the State Authority to the candidate for re-measurement and if the candidate is found fit during the re-measurement, they must be given an appointment in accordance with the Joint Services with Candidates other selected.
HC has also ordered the state authority to carry out high measurements, according to previous directions in November 2016 in a case entitled Sonu Singh versus Haryana and others state.

Justice Mendongui passed this order while hearing the petition filed by a female candidate.

The applicant’s height was shown as 155.2 cm, while the minimum height needed by the physical screening test qualification was 156 cm.
His advice argued that the actual height of the applicant was 158 cms according to the medical fitness report on October 23 issued by experts.
He has submitted a representation of his complaint to the State Authority but it didn’t work.
Hearing his request, HC ordered, “It is also clear that in this case, at the re-measurement of the Petitioner, he was found higher than what was measured before, he would be given the benefit of the same thing, according to high criteria as advertised by the state.”
