New Delhi: A group of Apple employees recently revived the Applletoo movement to share their stories about what they call “workplace discrimination and horror”.
In the latest Apple employees and anonymously posted an open letter to CEO COOK team and a senior company leadership team that said that employee privacy was not a concern of the company.
The letter begins with how Apple is proud of its commitment to diversity and equity, but this is far from the case in practice when it comes to employees.
“Apple is proud of his privacy policy, but it feels like a worker, our privacy doesn’t care,” the letter accused.
“When we are looking for leave or accommodation through Apple’s Mental and Physical Health Partners, we are asked to release a private medical information broad scope to Apple and one of Apple’s agents for a period of two-year blankets,” he stated.
He continued to claim that employees did not receive assistance despite reporting stories of harassment, discrimination and harassment through internal channels.
