Patna: Head of Vikasheel Party Insaan (VIP) Minister of the Ministry of Resources Cum-Fisheries Mukesh Sahani said it would set his candidate on all 24 legislative council seats from the quota of local Body Pancayati Raj and Urban, if the constituent did not reach a peace agreement about sharing seats.
“In Bihar, we are in NDA.
If they provide a legislative head seat to VIP for the contest, it’s fine.
Otherwise we will oppose all 24 seats,” said Sahani to MediodPersons here.
He added that VIP functionaries and potential candidates have been asked to make preparations for polls.
Sahani also allocates a party ticket to several candidates who compete for assembly elections at Uttar Pradesh.
He said the alliance could not be formed with BJP above because it did not reveal a commitment to the reservation for the People’s caste Nishad.
