BBK-owned consumer technology brand Realme has already confirmed that the company will soon make entry into the laptop market globally with the launch of RealmeBook.
Now, the brand has taken to Twitter to reveal that the RealmeBook will be eligible to get an upgrade to Windows 11 operating system, making it one of the early OEMs to offer support for the latest Windows OS.
Through its Realme TechLife account, the company announced this via a GIF where it shows ’11’ converting into a laptop and text that reads, “Upgrade to Windows 11 with Microsoft’s rollout.” .@Windows ready when you are!#Windows11 https://t.co/hkPdBwMyCA— realme TechLife (@realmeTechLife) 1624552781000Not much is known about the soon to be launched RealmeBook as its launch was only confirmed earlier this month at an event by Realme.
Rumours about the RealmeBook suggest that it will sport an aluminium body and sport thin bezels.
Along with the RealmeBook laptop, the company is also set to launch its first tablet — called Realme Pad.
Both the RealmeBook and RealmePad should make their way to the Indian market too and details about their launch are awaited.
The confirmation about the update to Windows 11 comes a day after software and cloud computing giant Microsoft unveiled the next version of the PC operating system.
Windows 11 is set to succeed Windows 10, which the company introduced in 2015.
Windows 11 is expected to be available for download later this year when PCs with Windows 11 operating system will officially start selling.
