Rebate ends today, a big rush to pay property taxes

Ludhiana: On Wednesday when only one day left to take advantage of a 10% discount about the property tax diploma for this financial year, civil agencies recovered Rs 5.02 Crore and 4,872 property tax refunds submitted-1,518 online (up to 5pm), 3,333 in The center of Suvidha and the others manually.
Thursday will be the last day for rebates.
Officials said for this year, 87,900 returns have been submitted, but around 1.2 lakh have not paid their taxes.
The city corporation has produced Rs 42.50 Crore since April, while last year until September 29 they got Rs 35.66 Crore.
The total target of the property tax recovery is Rs 110 Crore for this financial year.
Wednesday saw a large number of taxpayers at the Zonal MC office for property tax payments and water contributions and sewerage.
