Lucknow: Deputy Deputy Speaker Uttar Pradesh Nitin Agarwal, a Samajwadi Mla party that has been chosen to the home post for BJP support, officially exits from SP membership.
SP MLA from the conscious assembly chair Hardoi said he also stopped as MLA and representative of home speakers.
“I have sent my resignation from SP to his national president Akhilesh Yadav.
I have also resigned from assembly membership and from the position of vice speaker,” said Nitin Agarwal to reporters.
Agarwal, who was selected as the representative of the Assembly speaker of BJP support did not officially join the party and technically still became SP MLA.
Agarwal, who shared Dais with the minister of house Amit Shah during Rally Jan Vishwas BJP, is likely to oppose the Assembly polls from his Hardoi conscious seat on BJP tickets.
Political observer said the resignation was a mere formality because he had gone with BJP.
