The proposal in this relationship was approved by the Permanent SDMC committee on Friday.
Under the scheme, almost 40 food kiosks that have a default kitchen will be arranged to provide food at “very cheap prices”.
People will get Thali (food plate) with subsidized rates RS 15.
Chairman of the Fixed Committee B K Oberoi said this scheme was first implemented on the basis of the pilot in 2018-19 but was detained because Covid.
He said the corporation wants to restart the scheme with certain modifications such as allowing anyone to file a license unlike before when only city workers can do it.
