Lucknow: Creating a record, more than 10 Doses of Lakh Vaccine Covid-19 was given on Tuesday, according to the final data released on Wednesday.
Data from the Cowin Portal was updated to 9pm revealed that 10.29,434 vaccine doses were given at 6,500 sites on that day.
Additional Chief Secretary Secretary and Welfare Family Amit Mohan Prasad said: “This is the highest number of doses given in one day in the state.” With this, the total dose given in reaching 3.52 crore, which is then only for Maharashtra, where 3.54 JABS crore has been given.
The last 50 lakh doses have been added in the last nine working days in the period between June 27 and July 7 on Wednesday, more than 6.8 doses of lakh were given until the last report.
In the case of the above people, 2.98 Crore had taken the first dose while 53.71 lakh was fully vaccinated.
Before this, 9.03 Lakh vaccination was carried out on June 24 while 8.78 lakh jab was given on July 5.
More than 8 doses of lakh were given on June 25 (8.65 lakh), June 22 (8.53 lakh) and June 23 (8.26 lakh) as well.
Officials say that rising has the capacity to carry out up to 12 lakh vaccinations in a day now.
Lucknow is the only district with more than 15 lakh Jabs while Gautam Budh Nagar (12.91,346), Ghaziabad (11,19,882) and Meerut (10,32,832) has recorded more than 10 lakh vaccinations.
Kaushambi (1,94,777), Auraiya (1,94,223), Lalitpur (1,82,523), KasGanj (1,73,842) and Chitrakoot (1.48,147) need to catch up.
