Thiruvananthapuram: The state on Saturday was given 4.53 doses of covid vaccine lakh, the highest number of vaccination in one day.
Vaccination facilities are arranged in 1,522 centers in the total of 1,380 centers in the government sector.
Kannur Regency witnessed the highest number of vaccinations at 59,374, followed by Thrissur (53,841) and Kottayam (51,276).
Health Minister Veena George said that now the country only has 2 doses of lakh in stock which will end in a day.
“If the center does not provide a sufficient vaccine on Sundays, the drive will be hit from Monday and so on,” he said, adding that it was the most unfortunate that the information center that the state had not used 10 lakh doses provided by the middle.
