LONDON: The number of records of at least 430 migrants illegally crossed the channel to England in one day, said the government said Tuesday, because he swore the hard action.
Monday exceeded the previous daily highest 416 which was set in September 2020, and came as a debate of new negotiations of members of the British parliament which would overhaul the asylum rules and impose a more stringent prison term for migrants and smuggling of people-smugglers.
The more migrants, many of them on very dense rubber ships, have reached the British since the beginning of 2020.
The intersection usually increases in profitable summer weather.
One gloomy brought around 50 people, including women and small children, landed Monday in Kent on the south coast of England, with some of them raised their hands in the celebration.
And O’Mahoney, the commander of the threat of the government clandestine channel, called an increase at the intersection of “unacceptable” and “dangerous”.
“People must claim the asylum in the first safe country they have achieved and did not risk their lives to make this dangerous intersection,” he said.
“We continue to pursue criminals behind this illegal crossing.” Last year, the government said about 8,500 people arrived in England after making a dangerous intersection across the channel from Europe, one of the busiest shipping lines in the world, in a small boat.
Most crossings began in France, and both governments have operated with who must be responsible for stopping them.
O’Mahoney said government citizenship and Borders Bill, who continued through parliament would “protect life and broke this illegal crossing cycle”.
The law increases the maximum sentence for migrants entering English illegally from six months to four years.

“This bill will eventually overcome the problem that has produced a damaged system, from a long time, illegal migration,” he told parliament on Monday.
