Ahmedabad: Gujarat for the first time notes more than five doses of Lakh Vaccination Covid-19 on Thursday, taking the total vaccination to 3.06 crore.
The country is currently in third place nationally in terms of overall vaccination.
Of the 5.08 lakh vaccination on Thursday, 3.56 lakh was the first dose, and 1.51 lakh second dose.
So far, Gujarat has vaccassed 2.34 crores for the first lakh and 71.67 for the second dose – covering around 47% and 23% of the eligible population (18+ years) so far.
Ahmedabad City recorded 54,567 the highest vaccination, followed by 40,498 in City, 21,063 in Banskantha district, 19,481 in Dahod District, and 18,158 in the city of Vadodara.
In Ahmedabad, the authorities started a special drive vaccination for pregnant women where 117 was vaccinated on Thursday.
