Lucknow: In the middle of the level of mercury and humidity, Uttar Pradesh created a note to supply the power of 25,032 MW on Friday night.
Shrikant Sharma’s minister claims that the discount supplies power up to 24,000 MW for the past month.
“In the past four and a half years, the demand for power supply increased by 9000 MW.
In 2016-17, the demand for state power was 16,000 MW which rose to 23,867 MW in July 2020.
The increase in demand for power was the indicator that the state was on the path of growth,” he said , State transmission capacity has increased by 26,000 MW until now and at the end of the current financial year, he will cross 28,000 MW, he said, adding “in 2025, this capacity will be 32,400 MW in circumstances.” The minister further stated that the government invested Rs 12,111 Crore to install 237 feeders including 765, 400, 220, 132 kV.
Because the yogi government is in power, the total line of transmission circuits along 45,085 km has been placed.
“Currently the capacity of power generation of all plants above is 26,937 MW, which is 4000 MW more than a capacity of four years ago.
Because of our sustainable efforts, rural areas receive 54% more power supply.
Enhanced feeders have helped supply 18 hours of power in Rural areas, 21 hours in Tehsil and 24 hours at the District Head Office.
We also ensure a 20-hour power supply in the Bundelkhand area and round power to the industry, “said Minister Sharma.
