Pune: The number of patients recovering from Covid-19 infection (1,100) exceeded new cases (921) after a four-day gap in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Saturday.
In the last 24 hours, 391 patients were dismissed in the PMC limit, 574 in rural areas and Cantonese and 135 in Pimpri Chinchwad.
Pune-city companies and Pimpri Chinchwad added less than 200 patients on Saturday, while the rural part continued to report more than 500 cases.
The progressive calculation of positive cases in this region has increased to 11.19 lakh, the total recovery reached 10.80 lakh.
More than 28,000 samples were examined at PMR on Saturday.
Total testing of samples in this area increased exceeding 71 lakh.
Calculate the patient actively dropped to 9,516 on Saturday night, including 4,768 patients in house isolation.
Eight patients gave up on Covid-related complications in the region on Saturday, which included five deaths within the PMC limit, two in rural areas and one in the Pimpri Chinchwad area.
