Guwahati: The state government has decided to hold a joint recruitment exam for technical services through the Assam Public Service Commission and also a recruitment commission for class III and Class IV posts.
To give one work of the Lakh government to youth, CM Himanta Buswa Sarma on Saturday held a meeting with senior officials from various state government departments and reviewed the steps taken to fill in empty posts in various departments.
“During the meeting, it was decided to form a separate recruitment commission led by an officer in the rank of major secretary for class III and class IV.
Similarly, for various engineering services, it was decided to hold a combined recruitment examination through APSC.,” CM office states.
CM has also directed the department to quickly fill all empty posts, he added.
