Red Rebels opened fire on the police station in Gumla

Gumla: A group of CPI (Maois) late on Wednesday night attacked the Kurumgarh police station on the Behatololi, the portion they were exploited using Eid earlier on November 25.
The police also replied.
No one was injured in the incident.
On Thursday, SP Ehtesham Waquarib went to place to take a stock situation.
Police sources said at around 10:30 a group of Maois was seen marching towards the building by the police who lived on the first floor.
When the police asked them to stop, they released several rounds.
The police also retaliated, after that the rebels escape in the forest.
The police suspected that rebels were led by their new Zone Commander Chhotu Kherwar, who also played an important role in planting and blowing up IEDs in the new building last month.
“After the explosion, a police contingent camped in the building and brought the preliminary operation led by ASP (operation) Manish Kumar,” said an official, added that some empty cartridges were found in place.
Other officials added, “We had information about weapons fires near the newly damaged police station at 11pm on Wednesday.
We have launched an allowance for arresting those involved.”
