Mumbai: Students who seek in undergraduate college at the University of Mumbai will benefit around Rs 1,700 as a cost and costs for various campus services have been reduced for 2021-22.
Meanwhile, the university has announced 100% costs for students who have lost their parents or both because of Covid-19.
A total of 52,040 applicants are registered at the University on the first day of Thursday.

Circular followed the announcement carried out by the Minist of Higher Education and Technical Uday Samant who had directed the university to cut costs because people were influenced financially by Covid pandemics.

If the situation of the pandemic normalizes in the future and students are permitted to attend universities physically, components of proportional costs under different heads, including hostel costs, can be charged separately to students undergraduate and postgraduate programs and artists, science and trade programs.
