Registration of two-wheeled vehicles slowed in Pune

Pune: Registration of two-wheeled vehicles has slowed in the last eight months in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Rtos, officials said.
The number of people who bought a bicycle / scooter declined because of the pandemic as the majority of them worked from home, officials said at the regional transportation offices and dealers of two wheeled vehicles.
In addition, the second wave of pandemic in April, May and June slowed sales when the office was postponed reopened.
When it comes to vehicle registration as a whole in both RTOS, the number is almost equivalent to pre-covid time until July.
“We are satisfied with the entire registration.
Car registration has shown a positive sign, confirm again that people are now interested in buying.
The two wheels are a little concern because their registration may dip further in the coming months.
Apart from office, school, college, university , and other educational institutions are closed, and students have gone to their homes.
Students are also the main market for two-wheeled vehicles, “another official Pune RTO said.
The two-wheeled showroom manager at Camp said that even though there were new models entering the market, there were not many interested in customers.
“There was a slight increase in sales in the first two months of this year, but then the second wave struck.
When everything looks between January and March, some people think that the office and educational institutions will open, and questions and sales increase.
On average, We sell around 50 to 60 units every month (January to March.
Now, everything has changed again.
Sales have dropped to almost six to seven every month, with almost no questions, “he said.
