The Minor Term-1 CBSE paper exam is set to start from November 16.
Some students are confused because many tried the multiple choice questions format (MCQ) for the first time and anxiety about the optimal Mark Introduction Sheet (OMR).
Problems encountered
Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Chair, DLF Foundation Schools and Scholarships, Delhi / NCR, said, “Over the past two years, students and parents have been challenged by repeated changes in the board assessment method.”

Students face teething problems related to OMR sheets and MCQ format paper too, he added.
“Recently, the Central Educational Council (CBSE) has tried to calm the anxiety and trauma faced by students by releasing a circle that answers the most common questions.
However, the main responsibility lies in school to ensure that students become comfortable with term formats -1, “Wattal said.
Sanyam Bhardwwah, Examination Controller, CBSE, said, “OMR sheets requested by students to deal with terms of office – 1 exams are slightly different from the traditional format.
Thus, the Board has taken proactive steps by releasing tubes that explain the OMR sheet to help avoid confusion.
”
Fill the OMR sheet
Wattal said that recurring training sessions were the only way to deal with confusion.
“Some problems faced by students including understanding the basic requirements of efforts to answer MCQ paper on OMR sheets,” he added.
Bhardwah says that every question is followed by four circles, a box, and the last circle.
“The first four circles are marked (a), (b), (b), (c), and (d) represents the answer options.
Students must color the circle they want to mark in the answer and mention their choices in the box provided in the same line.
If a student is confused and the color of two circles, the choice he mentioned in the box will be considered a final, “he said.
After darkening the answer circle of the answer, students need to write the option in the box.
“If students embezzle the answer selection circle but leave the empty box, the question will be considered not defeated.
However, if there is no circle of colored answers, but the choice mentioned in the box, it will be evaluated.
Reply in the box will be treated as the final,” Bhardwaj said.
Maintain Mindbhardwaj said, “All OMR has a standard format, with the total space provided to answer 60 questions question.
”
Don’t try questions
Bhardwah says that the last circle is provided in front of the box that matches each question on the OMR sheet.
“If a student doesn’t want to answer the question, he can only color this last circle,” he said.
Furthermore, if it’s third, i.e.
Four circles, the last box and circle are left blank, it will be assumed that the question has not been tried.
