Guwahati: Assam Minister Himanta Buswa Sarma on Friday said the state government would adopt the rehabilitation policies of children who were saved from their trade racquets to secure their future.
The development took place after 40 children (16 women and 24 men) and two adults, traded from four villages in the Chirang Assam district along the Indo-Bhutan border, saved from Sikkim on Wednesday and was brought back to the state on Friday.
Sarma said the rehabilitation policy basically will discuss the emotional issues of children to secure their childhood so that in the near future they can bloom into good citizens and a lot of sense after completing their education.
