Mumbai: The Association of the Indian National Restaurant (NRAI) has asked Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to consider the relaxed restaurant operating hours after a constant decline in Covid-19 numbers in the state.
Restaurateur and President Nrai, Anurag Katriar Bring to social media to request a positive roadmap to reopen the food and beverage sectors that are surrounded by the country and call current restrictions in Mumbai and in all Maharashtra state as one of the countries.
“It is very important for our survival that this restriction is relaxed.
The utilization of a capacity of 50 percent is a good but limited hours it does not make sense,” Katriar said.
The guideline guidelines currently turn off the restaurant at 4pm and do not allow them to open on weekends.
The restaurant owner said they had reduced to be a mere lunch canteen so it was impossible for them to survive.
Restaurateur said the majority of sales used to occur during dinner hours.
He said reopening only 4 hours a day did not make sense for the most part and consequently the majority of outlets were closed.
Reacting to the Katriar post, Vibhu Sharma, a professional F & B said that longer operating hours mean more people can eat all day and are at a safe distance all the time.
Some restaurant owners regret no limits on the local market that is busy while the restaurant ensures social distance and cleanliness protocol is expelled from business.
With the state government, it is expected to announce new guidelines this week, Katria hopes the restaurant timing will be relaxed while the majority of restaurant owners are asked they must be allowed to keep open until at least 11 nights.
