Reliance Jio maintains its superiority in customer numbers in Delhi.
The company maintains its position in the national capital with more than 1.99 crore customers and 36.83% customer market share in May 2021, in accordance with the Indian telecommunications supervisory authority (Trai).
The company added 69,832 customers in Delhi during the month.
As for national numbers, Jio added 2.8 million active users in May, taking the share of active users to 34.3% and users based on 338 million.
While Airtel and Vodafone – the idea of losing 5.6 million and 7 million users respectively.
The overall active user base for the telecommunications sector fell 11 million to 986 million in May, reflecting several SIM consolidations and the effects of the second wave of Covid, analysts said.
Trai Active data or ‘Visitor Location Register’ (VLR) is said to be a key metric that reflects the number of customers actively actively using cellular networks.
The VLR ratio number can show up to 98% for airtla, 88.8% for VI and 78.4% for Reliance Jio.
