NEW DELHI: Minister of state for fertilizers and chemical Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday reported that the creation of Remdesivir was awakened ten times by 33,000 vials daily to 3,50,000 vials each day.
Considering Twitter he explained that the amount of plants generating Remdesivir also have increased from only 20 to 60 per month.
“I’m pleased and pleased to notify you that the creation of Remdesivir is awakened ten times by only ~33,000 vials/day around 11th April 2021 to ~3,50,000 vials/day now under the astute direction of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji,” Mansukh Mandaviya stated in an tweet.
He said the government has chosen to stop the fundamental allocation of Remdesivir into nations.
“We also have increased the amount of plants generating Remdesivir from only 20 to 60 plants inside a month.
Now the nation has sufficient #Remdesivir since the source is far more compared to the requirement.
So we’ve opted to stop the Central Allocation of Remdesivir to countries,” he explained.
The Union minister stated that the Centre has chosen to secure 50 lakh vials of Remdesivir to keep it as a tactical inventory.
“However I also have led @nppa_india & @CDSCO_INDIA_INF to constantly track the access to Remdesivir from the nation.
Government of India also has made a decision to secure 50 lakh vials of all Remdesivir to keep it as a tactical inventory for the crisis demand,” he further added.
Meanwhile, together with 1,73,790 new Covid-19 cases listed in the previous 24 hours, India on Saturday reported that the cheapest single-day Covid-19 increase in 45 days, keeping the continuing declining tendency, as stated by the Union health ministry.
