Rakesh, who celebrated his 72nd birthday today, was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019.
Opening his father’s fight against a terrible illness, Hrithik had told the other news portal that in his father’s generation, a man was taught that masculinity means being a stone .
That a father is someone who is very strong and never reveals his susceptibility.
Tears, we are taught, is feminine.
But being a living student, Hrithik added that he had learned that strength does not mean the lack of tears.
He realized that his father had survived too much inside him and he felt it was not healthy.

Hrithik has worked with his father in films such as ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai’, ‘Koi Mil Style’, ‘Krish’ and ‘Krish 3’.

Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently preparing for ‘warriors’ where it will look to share the screen space with Deepika Padukone for the first time.
Apart from this, he is also part of the official remake of Hindi ‘Vikram Vedha’ starring Saif Ali Khan in the main role.
