Remove Backlog in the OBC Quota: Panel to Rajasthan Govt

Jaipur: The National Commission for the Backward Class (NCBC) has asked the state government to clear the Delayed OBC quota feedback for years.
Sudha Yadav, a member of the Commission, held a meeting with the East-Welfare Welfare Department official on Wednesday urging them to speed up the OBC community listed on the central list to have OBC calculations in the state.
The commission member started a three-hour session late from the time scheduled at 1pm.
He argues that the state is among countries that have not shown seriousness in filling backlogs that lead to injustice with the OBC community.
“Every state must have 27% of reservations for OBC like the center giving its job.
We are here to improve the situation of the model following so the country and the center will be on the same page,” Yadav said.
Replying questions about why many communities listed in the Country OBC list did not find themselves in the middle list, he said, “It is a country that must recommend the union government to include the names of people in the OBC list,” said Yadav.
The national demand for calculation of the OBC population including Rajasthan, Yadav said that unless the countries eliminate confusion by coming on the same page as the union, the census which is a central subject cannot be done.
“For example, in the Rajasthan Jat community in OBC in several districts while they are not in other districts is confusion for the central government to keep them in the OBC list or not,” said Yadav.
The members came four hours late from the time scheduled at 10 am and stayed for about 30 minutes for the trial.
Umeed Singh Rabari, a nomad who came with a delegation from Niwaru was disappointed because he could not meet the members.
He argues that at least five communities that are not included in the OBC list are a problem of shame.
“Still a community that is actually beyond OBC’s reach,” Rabari said.
