Gurgaon: Paying attention to unauthorized advertisements that caused financial losses to corporate city of Gurgaon (MCG), Head of the Civic Agency on Friday issued direction to assistant engineers to remove all these ads immediately.
“All illegal ads must be removed immediately in accordance with the law.
Engineers must submit a weekly report on the actions taken and all commissioners must monitor and supervise the elimination of this ad in their respective fields.
The Joint Commissioner (head office) will provide a list of permissions.
It was released for various people or institutions for advertising displays with all details, “read orders issued by Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja.
MCG officials said that they were driving to remove the accumulation of illegal advertising and unipole hoarding near Dwarka Expressway and Barazy Flyover.
Officials said that it was obliged to take permission from the corporation to install the advertising stockpiling, Unipole and the board in the area that fell below the MCG limit.
Civic’s body generates RS 14.14 Crore income from advertisements in fiscal year 2017-18, rs 13.90 crore in fiscal year 2018-19, RS 15.45 Crore in the 2019-20 fiscal year and 8.97 crore at 2020- 21 fiscal years.
“The display of illegal advertisements has been reported and noticed within the MCG limit.
This Menace must be examined by decisive action.
Because it causes financial losses for MCG in addition to being a traffic hazard,” read orders issued on Friday.
