Patna: The Patna High Court on Tuesday direct the authority of the National Highway (NHAI) and the state government to ensure the elimination of the five religious structures from the Koilwar-Buxar NH project on February 28 in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court issued in Indian Unification vs.
Gujarat State & other.
One guideline stipulates that in the case of construction of illegitimate religious structures for worship in public places, roads and parks, all states and the United States must formulate a comprehensive policy regarding unauthorized removal or relocation or regularization of construction.
Hearing a collection of Pils for quick execution of the NH project in the state, the Justice Division bench Sanjay Karol and Justice S directed the Buxar and Bhojpur District Judges to be associated with local populations and provided the sensitivity needed in this matter.
The court also expressed displeasure on slow progress in the construction of this highway as 30% of project work still incomplete while the deadline for completing this project was April 17, 2022.
