Nagpur: A 24-year-old rape victim has abortion to himself, including taking a navel rope, guided by YouTube videos, at his residence in North Nagpur.
The woman was alone at home when her family went to Mumbai when she delivered the fetus who was still born in the seventh month of pregnancy.
The fetus was buried by his paramour, who was married to a son of his second wife.
In his statement to the police, rape victims said his paramour forced him to more than 50 occasions since 2016 in a different place.
Paramour, Sohail Wahab Khan, is now being held at the Yashodhara Nagar police station after being arrested on charges of rape on Thursday.
When he was pregnant, the woman was forced to cancel by Khan, a driver, on the grounds of his inability to immediately marry him because he was married to a son.
The police said the woman was told by Khan to follow the steps displayed on the YouTube video to release the fetus from the body by cutting the cable.
The woman was learned to risk her life by cutting the rope with any equipment she could manage at home and her kitchen.
Even though the incident took place a few weeks ago, the family approached the police after coming to find out now.
On Friday, the police called the Forensic Team from the College and Indira Gandhi Government Hospital and subdivisional judges to encourage the remnants of the fetal from the Taj Nagar cemetery.
However, the police could not track it.
On Thursday, Police Yashodhara Nagar registered a violation of rape against the Paramour of the woman after a survivor family approached the police.
“The victim’s family felt that Khan had thrown it with false promises because he had become a family man with a child and did not have enough income,” said Senior Inspector Sanjay Jadhav from the Yashodhara Nagar police station.
It was studied by Khan and the woman had established a relationship for about six years.
Khan, a driver, married twice early in the past.
After divorcing his first wife, Khan had been married for the second time a few years ago and also has a son.
Even though he was married twice before, Khan had been friends with a woman about six years ago and repeatedly exploited her promising marriage.
The police said the woman claimed that her paramour forced her after bathing nails and had repeatedly exploited her.
He claimed abortion had happened after falling when other family members left.
Senior Inspector Sanjay Jadhav from the Yashodhara Nagar police station said the fetus could not be traced despite exploring a place accused of paramour had buried it.
“We tried to remove the remnants of the fetus for DNA samples but unfortunately it could not be traced.
We are still trying to find the remnants of the fetus,” he said.
