Reopen covid care center in Annur, say residents

Coimbatore: With the absence of a Covid Care Center in Annur and its surroundings, the test is positive and requires institutional treatments forced to isolate themselves in their homes, thus risking the lives of other household members.
At least 10-15 people test positive in the average day of Annur and its surroundings.
According to Annur residents, there are three Covid care centers, including those exclusively for pregnant women, last year during the second wave.
But now only the center of a pregnant woman who works.
A social activist, a social activist from Annur, said most people lived in small houses with a single toilet in his village.
“But officials convinced them positively tested to stay at home.
This will only cause the spread of the virus among other family members.
Covid care centers must be opened where positive cases that require institutional care can be treated,” he said.
When infection spread rapidly, the district government focuses more on urban areas, while infections spread evenly in the regional rural areas, the addition of infection among the medical communities is also high, he added at this time.
After reaching 70%, other Covid care centers will be opened, “he said.
