Chandigarh: A BJP Punjab delegation led by the State Party President of Ashwani Sharma met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday to reopen the Kartarpur corridor with Gurpurab.
Sharma said: “This festival on November 19 and followers of Teacher Nanak must be allowed to travel to his birthplace in Pakistan.
The corridor opened on November 9, 2019, at the BJP initiative.
The historic Gurdwara is only 4.7 kilometers from the Indian border and should be negotiated as Part of the Indian region during the partition in 1947.
