Reopening school in Delhi: parents are not on board

New Delhi: Acquiring approval from parents to reopen schools for class X and XI students has become a slow process for most private schools, because many parents are not happy with the decision.
Schools hope that parents will agree so classes start for project practices and work.
Most of the schools have sent Google forms to parents who seek approval because many institutions are reopened from Monday.
Delhi Disaster Management Authority has enabled the school to reopen for class X and XII for practices, projects and jobs related to acceptance.
Jyoti Arora, the principal for the Gunung Abu Public School in Rohini, said, “We are still gathering responses and so far, very few parents agree.
However, when we called students for practice in January, many were present.” Even Ashok Pandey, Director for Ahllcon school, thinking because this is only for practice, most parents will agree.
“Students will come in small groups and they will only practice them and go home.
Parents know practice is an important part of the Board, so most must join,” Pandey said.
At Bal Bharti School, Gangaram, there has been a bad response to the approval form sent to parents.
Devasish Tewary of Srijan School, Town Model, added, “Many parents do not want to risk sending students physically to school.” However, at MM Public School, Principal Rooma Pathak said there had been a mixed response.
“School takes parents about sending to their neighborhood for offline classes through Google forms.
In the analysis, the response has been mixed.
Many are happy to send students to school for practical learning, which is not possible in online classes.
According to parents like that If a child visits his relatives, malls, etc.
Then why not send them to school with precautions, “said Pathak.
“About 20% of parents oppose it, because they feel they send students to school without vaccinating them can cause health hazards.” Schools such as Amity International School, Saket still works on reopening modalities.
The Principal Divya Bhatia said, “We have not started training taking approval because we are still looking for the modality.
We have received the SOP, but we do not want to be in a hurry.” However, in government schools, there are not many doubts between parent.
