Billy long rep rep, conservative from Missouri Barat Daya, entered a crowded race for Republican nominations for the US Senate in Missouri.
Long, 65, announced the bid of his Senate Tuesday night at the Carlson Tucker event at Fox News.
He joined the list of long GOP candidates who were looking for 2022 nominations for seats emptied by the Blunt Cupleption Republic, which announced in March he would not look for third terms.
Other republic candidates announced including Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, former Gubern Eric Greitens, US Rep Vicky Hartzler and St.
Louis Mark Mark McCloskey, who gained fame to appoint a gun at his protesters in June 2020.
Long decisions and Hartzler brought some risks because both would be very favored to keep their seats in Congress if they ran again.
Long was first chosen for Congress in 2010.
He has been a supporter of former President Donald Trump.
