Gurgaon: Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has decided to repair the separator road for the 17/18 sector which is not only used by residents of two sectors but also a relationship between Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (NH-8) and old Delhi-Gurgaon road.
According to sources, authorities have floated tenders for projects and have invited institutions.
“This project is estimated to cost around Rs 6.8 Crores,” said a GMDA official.
This project will be completed in six months from the date of tender allotment.
As part of the project, the appointed agent will fill the hole, repair the trail together by strengthening the road so that it can hold heavy vehicles.
The agency will also be responsible for the maintenance of stretching for at least two years.
During the accountability period, the agency will be responsible for filling holes, cleaning channels, culverts and holes.
GMDA has launched a tender for maintenance and repairs several roads in the city, including those in new sectors.
These roads have never been made because some parts of the land are still in litigation.
GMDA has invited agencies for the work of building missing links from the main road sector 81/82, 92/95, 81/86 and roads outside the sector 91 and 92.
Plan Master Gurgaon-Manbar 2031 said while Huda (the assignment is now below GMDA) will develop a 60-meter road, a 24-meter internal road will be developed by builders in their area.
As a result, most of the builders only develop patches in front of the community they left the gap of large connectivity in these sectors.
Meanwhile, GMDA is also in the process of improving some important stretches including one in the SPR and the link between Sirhaul Toll and Delhi.
