Noida: Noida Authority has issued a notification to developers of four groups of housing groups in all sectors 75, 76 and 78 on stoppage processing plants that are not functioning (STPS), asking them to improve the situation on February 15, or face the cancellation of work certificates (OC).
The developers concerned are Assotech Windsor Court, Skytech Construction Pvt Ltd, Gardenia India Ltd.
and Futec Shelters Pvt Ltd, and non-functional STPS that they operate each in a housing community in sector 78, 76, 75 and 78.

The survey found 72 functional STP, with a sample of 55 not according to the standard and to undergo the resampling according to the board.
Meanwhile, the survey found four apartment complexes, now facing OC cancellation, without functional stps.
The survey came after the command of the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
“Following the NGT’s command from July last year on Condli’s disposal material, we surveyed STP in 95 community housing groups to check whether the function was in accordance with the soid-down standards.
During the survey, we found functional STP in 72 community housing groups, but water treatment at 55 STPS is not in accordance with the standard.
Four community housing groups have non-functional STPS.

Based on the UPPCB survey, the Noida Authority has served notifications now.
“CEO, Noida authority, held a review meeting this week, where he found out about non-functional STP from four group housing communities in sector 75, 76 and 78.
He then directed strict action in the case of non-compliance with guidelines NGT on February 15.
The CEO directed the planning department to start the OC cancellation procedure in these cases after 15 February, “said RP Singh, Deputy General Manager (DGM), the Department of Sea, Noida Authority.
STPS in the Group housing complex is used to clean water from the apartment, using physical, chemical and biological methods to make it reused.
All community housing groups are required to have functional STP to treat water, use later in general and horticultural areas.
SYPS helps examine groundwater extraction and use by the community.
