Like every new Apple product, a website that focuses on iFixit’s repair finally dropped Tearddown videos for the latest 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Videos gave us the first look on internal components along with changes to the internal design to offer better repairs than the previous MacBook laptop.
Ifixit has mentioned that it enters the new 16-inch MacBook Pro that is new because the rear panel is tied with several screws.
At the same time, there are many changes in terms of internal design, speaker system, battery, logic board, I / O and more that makes it more corrected than older MacBook.
This time, Apple no longer robbed the battery in place and instead the company has chosen for the adhesive pull tab that makes the battery easier and simpler than before.
But there are still some things that need to be handled before removing the battery.
The first is a new speaker system that is placed near the battery and the second, you need to delete the entire trackpad to draw the adhesive tab of the two main batteries.
However, it was still better than the previous battery glued which made it almost impossible to be replaced.
The new MacBook Pro is equipped with more ports that include SD card slots and HDMI ports along with Thunderbolt Port, Audio Jack and Magsafe Charger.
USB-C Port, Port Magsafe and Jack Audio are modular and can be replaced, but the HDMI and SD card slots are inserted on the logic board along with memory and storage and cannot be replaced.
Changing the modular port is not that simple.
Ifixit has noted that the port is placed and tightened tightly on the chassis and to delete it someone needs to remove all logic boards that require removing all cables and screws that can be complicated tasks.
When it comes to repairs, Apple products are usually complicated to be repaired.
However, with the new MacBook Pros, it seems that Apple considers several things that require a replacement in the end or have a high chance to become damaged such as batteries, ports, etc.
