New Delhi: Even when South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) seeks to get Bharat Darshan Park in September, now has decided to add four new Char Dham sites.
The proposal was approved at a fixed committee meeting on Thursday.
“The work in the park has been postponed a little due to rain, but we will be ready to park in September.
Replica temples in four Dhams-Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, Badrinath and Dwarka Puri – will also be prepared in this period alone,” said an official company South.
Chairman of the BK Oberoi SDMC Tetel Committee said that the decision to add this replica was taken according to the advice of the Governor of Lieutenant.
“With this additional four Dham, we will be able to cover 14 countries, including Uttarakhand (Badrinath),” the official said.
Oberoi said that this new replica would not increase the overall cost of the budget.
