New Delhi: Immediately Replica of the Vande Bharat Trainet will replace the Steam Fairy Queen locomotive at Rail Bhawan in the National Capital.
The proposed symbolic of the symbolic gets an interest because the government has focused the modernization of Indian trains and has projected the original semi-high semi-high train as a sign of changing the face of the national carrier.
At present, Queen Peri locomotive is placed in front of Rail Bhawan, which is the Headquarters of the Indian train.
Fairy Queen Locomotive has succeeded in reaching the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest steam locomotive in the world in regular services.
The source said the integral coach factory in Chennai, which produces two Vande Bharat’s first trainset, is completing the replica of the trainset which will be included in the Rail Bhawan complex.
“The Vande Bharat Trainss signifies transformational changes that occur on the train regarding the quality, comfort, adoption of modern technology and travel speed.
So there is more focus on producing and launching more trains like that,” said a senior official.
The Vande Bharat train is equipped with enhanced facilities and better seating, security and supervision systems along with fire resistant features.
The next generation of this train will have more modern features.
The government has prioritized the operation of the 75 Trainsets Vande Bharat which connects big cities in August 2023, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in his independence day speech.
Sources say even trains that will be brought by private operators will become a trainet, which does not require separate locomotives to run the train because it is pushed by itself.
The first Vande Bharat Trainet was marked by PM on February 2019 between Delhi and Varanasi.
The second train runs between Delhi and Katra.
